  7. All corrupt ministers should be sacked. They are behaving like traitors of our country.

  11. Yesterday my Blood Pressure was down, but today it is back in control because the strength of the nation is behind me.

  12. Gandhiji dreamt of a strong independent India. His message was – go to the villages. Till the villages became self sufficient and self-administered, the dream of a strong India would never be fulfilled. Mahatma Gandhi used to say that development should not be based on exploitation of man and nature. Let us plan whatever nature has given us properly so that every person, family and village becomes self sufficient.

  13. Gandhiji said that if you want to change the economic condition of India, you will have to change the economics of the village. Because India lives in it’s villages. If villagers had adequate food and adequate work, then even if they had lesser facilities in villages, they would not leave villages and migrate to cities. This would change the economic condition of villages.

  14. Gandhiji was of the opinion that development that takes place without exploiting nature and humans is sustainable development. But development that happens through means of exploitation is absolutely unethical development.

  15. I believe that curbing corruption and creating ideal villages will provide a new direction to the country. I strongly believe that if activists who have experience in village development provide the necessary guidance this could help set the direction for the future of India.

  16. Many people got angry due to one slap, but when the people who have dedicated their entire life for the society and country are victimized, then no one gets angry. This is unfortunate. I have a request – if you have anger against me and want to burn my effigies, then continue doing that as you have been doing till now. Do whatever you want to insult me, but do not damage national property because it belongs to all of us. Protect it. Sharad Pawar’s supporters hurled dirtiest abuses against me, I have kept a CD of the same for my record. At an appropriate time, I will play it before the public. They are free to continue abusing me, it does not hurt me at all. But when the national property is damaged, I am hurt and feel very sad.

  17. People talk in the air. They don’t say what is wrong with Team Anna. The allegation against Kiran Bedi of corruption in airfare money, even if true, the money was not used for her family.

  18. Kiran Bedi has dedicated her life to work for many causes without expectation of gain. There is no personal greed in her. If she has used it for the people, it cannot be called wrong.

  19. Politicans and social workers are different. Politicians are filled with greed. There is hardly one politician without such a trait. Contesting elections needs money. How do people get money for it? We do not believe politicians when they say they have taken money for social work. Take Arvind Kejriwal. He did not use public funds for personal gain. He is an IIT student, he could have earned in lakhs. His mother and wife are teachers. His tyag (scarifice) is important. There is no link to corruption in his case.

  20. The voter is not alert. Today, in villages, the illiterate man is misled if he is shown a Rs 500 note. The drunkard is promised liquor. I see how much money is being spent on elections. A person who stays in a temple, how will he contest elections?
