Ramesh Balsekar Quotes
- It is the nature of the monkey-mind to jump about and chatter.
- Consciousness is the only Reality.
- Mind is merely a collection of thoughts, or a collection of
impressions which makes up this "me", this self image.
- Love is wanting to do something for the other without the
slightest expectation of anything in return.
- Enlightenment is total emptiness of mind. There is nothing you
can do to get it. Any effort you make can only be an obstruction to
it.
- To be enlightened is to be able to accept with equanimity
anything in life at any moment as God's will.
- An individual has no free will. Everything happens according to
God's will.
- Self-Realization is effortless. What you are trying to find is
what you already are.
- There is no birth and no death. The final truth is that nothing
has happened, there is no creation. There is no seeker and no
sought. We are dreamed up creatures.
- For enlightenment to happen the perceiver must turn right around
and wake up to the fact that he is face to face with his own nature
- that HE IS IT. The spiritual seeker ultimately finds that he was
already at the destination, that he himself IS what he had been
seeking and he was in fact already home.
Essential Teachings of Ramesh Balsekar:
- There is no doer, everything is a happening. In a given
situation what so ever we think we should do, we are free to do but
final outcome of event is already predetermined. On final outcome we
have no control. So there is nothing called as free will
- If one accepts that what so ever is happening is as per God’s
will or Cosmic law then there will not be any complaint or
frustration with life.
- But this acceptance will also come to us as per God's will.
So only thing which Ramesh Balsekar suggest
us to do is:
Ramesh Balsekar: Everyday spend 10-15 minutes alone thinking over
the life events and investigate. Which event in a day has happened
because of my action?
If we analyze and go deep in an event then we will realize that we did a
particular action because we had a thought of doing that event, And we
have no control over our thoughts.
They come and go, they come from outside.
Some point of time as per God’s will sudden flash of insight will come
that there is no doer. If I am not doer then no one else is doer.
Everything is happening.
Ramesh Balsekar further says “Acceptance does not mean doing nothing and
sitting back, but doing what ever is necessary to be done in that
moment. So any moment do what ever you think you have to do” |
